DECEMBER 14, 2024 | 3pm and 6pm
We are so excited for our second annual performance of The Nutcracker!
This year’s performance will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Hagee Communication Center at Nelson University (formerly SAGU) at 3p and 6p.
Ticket sales will open Tuesday, November 12 at 10a.
Rehearsal + Arrival Information
Because The Nutcracker is a production - and not a typical recital - additional rehearsals are needed to learn cues for entering and exiting the stage. Please see below for the rehearsal information for dancers in Ballet 1 - Ballet 4.
All dancers need to be at the rehearsals below to ensure they know where to go/what to do for performance:
Dec. 13 - ALL Cast In-Studio Rehearsal 5p-8p: Full Dress Rehearsal for All Cast at the studio. Please come in full costume with hair done (makeup not necessary for this rehearsal). Please arrive no later than 5p. We will run the show from start to finish at least 2 times.
Stage moms will need to be present at rehearsal to pass out props, if necessary, and help line dancers up.
Dec. 14
10:30a - ALL Cast Stage & Tech Rehearsal: No costumes necessary. Please wear standard class dancewear and ballet shoes.
2:30p - Call time for shows: All dancers will need to arrive at 2:30p to check in* for the first show starting at 3p. All dancers will perform in both the 3p and 6p shows.
All dancers will need to be checked out* following the 3p.
Dancers will need to be at Nelson University to check in for the 6p show at 5:30p.
*All dancer check-ins and check-outs will be done using the QR code emailed to you from Check In Pointe on Thursday evening December 12, 2024). This goes to the primary email on the account (the email used to log in to your parent portal); please check your junk folder if you do not see this in your inbox. For safety purposes, dancers will only be released to a parent or guardian with the QR code.
